Women’s Cancer Resource Center (Oakland) – Market feasibility study
The Women’s Cancer Resource Center creates opportunities for women with cancer to improve their quality of life through education, supportive services and practical assistance. Our staff and volunteers provide information and referral to community resources, care planning, high intensity cancer navigation, support groups, in-home support, emergency financial assistance, community outreach and cancer and wellness education.
WCRC lacks sufficient data to identify and reach its next level. We need to determine if there is adequate support among our donors and community partners to mount a new fundraising campaign addressing Emergency Financial Assistance, High Intensity Cancer Navigation or Wellness Programming.
The project team will work with the WCRC Board of Directors’ Campaign Feasibility Committee to organize and implement a marketing study in Alameda County to assess the feasibility of mounting a fundraising campaign in support of one of these options: Emergency Financial Assistance, High Intensity Cancer Navigation or Lifestyle and Wellness Programs. The marketing study will include organizing and structuring the project, identifying constituents to be involved, information gathering through 1:1 interviews, focus groups and surveys, organizing and analyzing the data collected, recommendations regarding size and scope of potential campaign and case statement.
