Vince Marigna is the Chief Executive Officer of Breakthrough Collaborative. His career in education began as a high school English teacher in New Jersey and progressed into leadership roles at prominent education organizations, including Braven, KIPP New Jersey, and Teach For America.

Breakthrough Collaborative is a national leader in advancing educational opportunity by supporting student success and strengthening the teacher workforce. Through rigorous academic support, mentorship, and holistic learning, Breakthrough equips students to achieve their academic and career goals, fostering social and economic mobility. At the same time, Breakthrough is addressing the national teacher shortage through its premier teacher pathway program, providing college students with 100+ hours of teaching, training, and mentorship each summer. Breakthrough's “near-peer” mentoring model centers relationships between Teaching Fellows and students, fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes mutual growth and development. 

Breakthrough students graduate from college at a rate 27% higher than their peers of similar backgrounds, and more than half of Teaching Fellow alumni become teachers. With 25 affiliates nationwide, Breakthrough serves more than 10,000 students and recruits 1,100+ Teaching Fellows annually, equipping young people to learn, lead, and create lasting impact.
