These are the projects our alumni worked on this past fall:
SAN FRANCISCO PROJECTS:
SF Recreation and Parks (SF) – Facilitate Strategic Planning Process – SF city department that administers more than 200 parks, playgrounds, and open spaces.
Community Music Center (SF) – Strategy and Financial Review – Making music accessible to all people, regardless of their financial status.
St. Vincent de Paul (SF) – Strategic Plan – Provides services to the SF community to help break the cycles of poverty, homelessness, addiction and domestic violence for over 150 years.
New Century Chamber Orchestra (SF) – Branding/Messaging – a Virtuoso, conductorless ensemble comprised of local musicians and world-renowned artists.
IIBA (International Institute of the Bay Area) (SF) – Long-term Sustainability Plan — Welcomes, educates and serves immigrants, refugees, and their families as they join and contribute to the community.
InnVision Shelter Network (Menlo Park) – Strategic Plan – One of the largest and most effective shelter/housing and supportive service providers in Northern California.
Nueva School (Hillsborough) – Growth Strategy Assessment – A nationally recognized independent school serving gifted and talented students from Pre-K through high school with a dynamic educational model to enable gifted children to learn how to make choices that will benefit the world.
Pacific Art League (Palo Alto) – Strategic Plan — To provide an environment for advancing the expression, appreciation and enjoyment of the arts.
Bay Area Discovery Museum (Sausalito) – Program Pricing Assessment — Children’s museum featuring hands-on art, science, environmental and media exhibitions, performances, and ongoing educational curricula.
EAST BAY PROJECTS:
Girls Leadership Institute (Oakland) – Online Strategy for Content and Research Dissemination – Teaches girls the skills to know who they are, what they believe in and how to express it, empowering them to make change in the world.
MARE (Marine Applied Research Experience) (Richmond) – Growth strategy — Deepwater robotics technology utilized for environmental conservation and marine protection.
Women’s Cancer Resource Center (Oakland) – Market feasibility study – Creates opportunities for women with cancer to improve their quality of life through education, supportive services and practical assistance.
